Champagne Centerpieces

Our sales banquet this year was named “Toasting to 2011 Success” and our colors were champagne, gold, and off white.  I needed to come up with a centerpiece for 12 tables that was under the price of $10 each.  I decided to get empty wine and champagne bottles and take off the labels on them. I soaked the bottles in water for about 3 minutes and the labels came off easily.  We put on our own labels that had the name Sweet Success and the story of the wine was on the back.  I bought candelabra’s that were wine toppers from for $5.95.  The candelabras stuck right into the top of the bottle that had 3 arms coming out to hold candles.  I decided to get round candles from Bed, Bath, and Beyond and the whole centerpiece was under $9.  For the seating cards we put everyone’s name card in a plastic champagne flute filled with confetti paper and gold Hershey kisses.  These favors were simple and so cheap yet everyone loved them.  To accent the tables we made chocolate covered strawberries with white chocolate and gold sprinkles and placed them in gold cupcake holders.  The tables were simple but felt so classy!
